The district collector made a surprise visit to Lalgudi and directed the highways authorities to repair the damaged roads and cover the potholes.
He also inspected the Lalgudi bus stand and instructed the concerned authorities to remove all the encroachments, allot space for the the authorities to maintain hygiene and sanitation in the bus stand.
