Periya Suriyur and Kalinga patti in Trichy district witness Jallikattu this year with organisers made wide arrangements which has emptied their pockets. This costs included erection of barricades for the bulls, VIP gallery  and sheds with roofs.
The organisers were asked to spend on their own funding source where the district administration has turned out their plea for sharing expense. At periya suriyur, nearly 500 bulls have been registered and 600 bull tamers to enter the arena. Gifts for the Untamed bulls and their owners includes Motor bile, Racer bicycles, gold coins and almirahs.
The district administration and the police have been inspecting the place of this sport and ensured the safety norms and other arrangements are done with maximum perfection. The organisers of JALLIKATTU feel that though the supreme court has cleqared the BAN on this sport but the norms set to conduct this sport is really worrying them, which may dim the sport and the festivity.
