ESO India, a voluntary organisation promoting research in diseases of esophagus and stomach, is inviting applications from those interested in pursuing research in the area.
This is open to medical students — undergraduates and post-graduates, non-medical college students, nursing students, individual consultants and institutions. Candidates interested in research can send in an application titled ‘Expression of Interest in Research on Stomach and Esophagus’.
A separate sheet describing the area of interest for research in 500 words should be provided, a press release said. The research areas could include everything from epidemiology, lifestyle, quality of life up to advanced research in all diseases of the esophagus and stomach, both benign and malignant.
ESO India will create an opportunity for researchers to present their work in major national and international conferences – International Gastric Cancer Congress, International Society for Diseases of Esophagus, Malaysians Upper Gastro Intestinal Society and Korean International Gastric Cancer Association.
Applications can be sent as email to email@example.com. The last date for sending the application is November 30. Applicants would be called for a meeting with the Academic and Research Committee of ESO India.The date, time and venue would be communicated to applicants individually, according to the release.
