Periyar Centenary Memorial Matriculation Hr. Sec. School celebrated it’s 40th Annual Day On Friday, 25th January 2019 amidst great zest, vibrancy and elation,

 The function was presided over by Tamilar Thalaivar, Aasiriyar Manamigu.K.Veeramani Avl, among other dignitaries presented were Manamigu A.X.Alexander former, Director General of police, Tamilnadu, Manamigu. S.Velusamy vice chancellor, Periyar Maniammai Institute of Science and Technology Vallam, and Manamigu, V.Anburaj, the correspondent, Periyar Group of School Manamigu R.Thangathal the Co-ordinator and Manamigu P.Suramaniyan Campus Director were in the dias.

  The welcome address was given by Manamigu.Mr.V.Anburaj, Correspondent of Periyar Group of schools. The Annual school Report Presented by Principal Manamigu K.Vanitha brought to fore, the achievements of the school and presented the vision for the progress of the school.

Students were awarded shields for their scholastic and the teachers were also motivated by cash award for the centum results.

Tamilar Thalaivar, Aasiriyar Manamigu. K.Veeramani Avl, addressed the gathering. He said that, along with acquiring knowledge, the students should excel in their interested fields he also thanked the parents should spend their time along with their children and inculcate discipline in them. In their future our students must develop their rational thinking and scientific knowledge in everlasting manner. “Our vision is to create a society of progressive thinking individuals who will contribute to the intellectual development by initiating positive changes in social fabric”

The formal function was followed by cultural extravaganza. It was a delightful sequence of enthralling performances and vivacious presentations.

Cultural events took audience on a spectacular journey showcasing transformation of human mind through education.

The vote of thanks was delivered by our student B.Rajeshwari. The Programme culminated with the National Anthem.
