On 21st of March 2019 at 05.45 pm, the programme began with the invocation. The Secretary of the Institution, Shri.S. Ravindran welcomed the gathering and introduced the Chief Guest Dr.K.Narasimha Rao orthopaedic Surgeon & Medicolegal Consultant. Y.Venkataramani, Dean ( R & D) presented the Guest with a memento. D. Valavan, the Principal of the Institution presented the College Annual Day Report delineating the college ideals, values as well as the achievements of both the students and the staff of the institution.
Then, the Chief Guest delivered an Infotainment speech enlightening the students to become successful in their career. He threw light on Five points with each point beginning with an alphabet.
1.Academics: The students ought to be aware of everything they do. They need to employ their hypothetical skill to widen their perspective and to learn the best out of their teachers and be concerned about the society.
2.Bridge the gap between Problem and Solution: The students were exhorted to work towards eliminating poverty and bringing in equanimity. He shared his interaction with Palam Kalyanasundaram who has been recognised by the NGO from the US for his various munificent services towards humanity.
3. 4Cs: Competence through Commitment, Consciously incompetent, Consciously Competent and Unconsciously Competent.
4. Do something constructive: He affirmed that discharging our duty well earns us dividends. He insisted that all the students should strive to give their best to get the best outcome.
5. Environment: He urged the students to take care of the environment. Of the five elements, Water and Air are considered risk elements which ought to be protected from contamination and pollution to provide conducive environment at least for our progeny to be healthy. He lamented giving data about the number of children dying due to Pneumonia and Diahorea. He was overwhelmed with joy while mentioning about one of our college students who paid great service in clearing and desilting the Uyyakondan Canal. He concluded his address thanking the Management & the Principal for giving him an opportunity to be the chief guest for the function of the great institution. He further thanked the Staff and students for their patient listening. He stuck to the time limit fixed by him.

Ms. Sharanaa Fathima of IV CSE, Ms.S.Monisha Shreee of IV ECE, Mr.S.Leo Aldinraj of EEE, Ms.P.N.Subbu Lakshmi of ICE, S.Vignesh of IT, Mr.S.Sharan of Mechanical & Mr. A.Ruban Rajesh of MBA were presented the best outgoing- student award for their best performance in their respective academic branches. LEO ALDRINRAJ.A.S Final Year EEE has secured the best outgoing student of the college.
Then, he distributed prizes to the staff and students for their excellence in their chosen fields. S.M.Girirajkumar, Head- Dept of ICE & Head- Training and Placement proposed vote of thanks.
Then followed an array of cultural events where the students across the branches gave an impeccable and stunning performance through multiple dance forms, songs by light music band..The long fun filled day came to an end around 08.30 pm. It was really a blend of fun and frolic fest.
