Indian Union Muslim League leader requests that arrangements be made to repatriate Muslims suffering in Tamil Nadu
In a letter to Tamil Nadu cheif Minister Edappadi Palanisamy, National President of the Indian Union Muslim League, Prof. Khader Moideen said: 129 Muslims from 9 countries, including Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Bangladesh, have arrived in Tamil Nadu on religious tourism. The Tamil Nadu government registered 15 cases against them and lodged them in the Chennai Central Jail. Following the court order they were then lodged at the Haj Committee Society place in the Chennai kiln. I request the First Minister of Tamil Nadu to make arrangements to send them back to their home country as the case against them is coming up for hearing in the Chennai I Court on the 20th.
