An unexpected fire broke out on Thursday in the Thailamara forest in Vadakkipatti near Ponnamaravathi. Seeing this, the public poured water from a nearby well and motor into the fire to extinguish the fire. Karai Revenue officer Pandi and VAO Parthiban were present.
